IS SUBMARINA DIFFERENT?
Submarina is different in many ways. We deliver fresh baked bread daily
to our restaurants. The bread is never frozen and it doesn’t contain
any preservatives. We only use the highest quality meats, sliced right
in front of the customer, just like one would find at a neighborhood
deli. Our restaurants are comfortable. We are fast-casual, not
fast-food. We take customer service to heart. It’s YOUR sandwich!

SUPPORT DOES SUBMARINA OFFER ITS FRANCHISEES?
We support our franchisees from the moment they sign their franchise
agreement. Our system is virtually turn-key, through financing, site
selection, design and construction, equipment procurement and signage;
we are with you every step of the way. Then we train you, the Submarina
way. Not only do you attend training at our San Diego location and
restaurants, but we provide on-site training at YOUR restaurant during
pre-opening/crew training, opening, and post-opening. We won’t leave
until you tell us to leave! We also offer daily on-going operational
support via live person and through our intranet system.

DOES SUBMARINA DIFFER FROM OTHER SUB SHOPS?
Our product speaks for itself. The bread is never frozen, we don’t
pre-slice our meats and we provide a comfortable upscale atmosphere to
sit, relax and savor the sub sandwich. According to Gina Galvin of Mood
for Food, she states “Submarina has an amazing quality of meats
reminiscent of the great delis of New York,” and “Few competitors have
the variety of fresh produce and the handling of product with such care
as Submarina restaurants.” Furthermore, Gina was “blown away” by our
friendly and personal customer service.
HOW
IS A FRANCHISEE TRAINED?
A franchisee attends a two week training curriculum at our training
facility in San Marcos, California within one month of their store
opening. Then we join you pre, during and post opening in your new
Submarina restaurant!.
WHO
IS THE CEO OF SUBMARINA?
The CEO of Submarina is Jeffrey Warfield. Mr. Warfield’s mother and
father were two of the original founders of Submarina. Jeffrey grew up
in the business as a young boy, later owning his own Submarina
restaurant before joining the corporate team in 1996. He became CEO &
president in 2000 and Chairman of the Board and CEO in 2007. He served
10 years active duty in the US Navy including combat operations aboard
the USS Ranger and Kitty Hawk.
WHAT
TYPES OF FOODS DOES SUBMARINA SERVE?
Submarina serves delicious hot and cold sub sandwiches, wraps, salads,
soups, side salads, chips, desserts and drinks. We also serve a great
kid’s meal!
